STENCIL

The history of street art has a deep and meaningful place in culture and politics. While many associate street art with a building and a can of paint this isn’t always the case. Today, graffiti comes in a variety of formats and street art is starting conversations and bringing together communities.

JURNE‘S work has appeared in Germany, Poland and British Columbia, is internationally known for his stunning murals, is giving participants an in depth introduction to the history of graffiti and sharing his own personal and powerful experience as an artist.

STENCIL provides the opportunity for participants to create their own stencil art and then apply spray paint and/or design their names in graffiti using a paper and markers. The hands-on workshop provides the opportunity for participants to leave with their own piece of art.

STENCIL is inspiring students to see themselves as active public artists.

Workshop must be booked with STREET ART event.
