GET PRICKED, created by The Needle Prick Project, is starting a long overdue conversation around HIV. The photo shoot provides a platform to increase HIV awareness, decrease stigma and increase the importance of HIV testing. GET PRICKED creates a platform for participants to use their face and voice which will encourage conversations around HIV and AIDS among their friends, family and in the community, regardless of their HIV status.

GET PRICKED includes hair and makeup and participants having their photo taken on the GET PRICKED set. Participants can choose to have their picture alone or come together in groups. The GET PRICKED image is provided to the participant with their message of hope and is built for social media.

GET PRICKED is perfect for health awareness week, can be booked alone or with any of our lectures including DOES HIV LOOK LIKE ME?. Hope’s Voice provides a discount when you book the GET PRICKED with a lecture and we know combining the photo shoot and a lecture inspires the hearts and minds of those who attend and participate.

GET PRICKED shows participants that each of us can be part of the solution in an epidemic that is widely impacting young people. In fact, half of those infected are under the age of 25. Isn’t it time we all get involved?
