SECOND CLASS CITIZEN is creating an opportunity for LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender) participants and their straight allies to take a stand in the fight for equal rights and against discrimination based on sexual orientation.  Hope’s Voice knows that diversity is more than the color of our skin but believes that diversity is about creating a world where all are accepted.  In communities across the United States we have seen a tidal wave of historic wins for the LGBT community, but let’s be clear, the road for equality still has a long way to go.  The photo shoot is creating a powerful message that the LGBT community and their straight allies won’t accept hate and/or discrimination and are using their face and voice to take a stand a commit a pledge to talk about the importance of equality with their friends, family and in the community.

SECOND CLASS CITIZEN participants can choose to have their picture alone or come together in groups.  The SECOND CLASS CITIZEN image is provide to the participant with their message of equality and is built for social media.

SECOND CLASS CITIZEN is a powerful experience for diversity and/or LGBT week and can be booked alone or with any of our lectures.  Hope’s Voice provides a discount when you book SECOND CLASS CITIZEN with a lecture and we know combining the photo shoot and a lecture creates a sense of purpose and community for those who attend and participate.

SECOND CLASS CITIZEN is a powerful social statement that creates a conversation, regardless of one’s political view on this often hot topic issue.
